Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the review of liability, evaluation of exposure, and discussion of claim valuation and resolution
  • Gain exposure to a wide variety of tort claims, including personal injury, medical malpractice, and construction defect
  • Observe the work of established claim professionals and participate in project work
  • Shadow claim professionals within the Property, Casualty, Specialty, and Coverage units
Requirements
  • Pursuing a JD with an interest in insurance or tort law
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Detail-oriented with initiative and ability to work independently and as part of a team
Training and Development
  • Weekly Lunch and Learns with leaders on career, technical, and industry topics
  • Assigned team and mentor to support learning on the job
  • Executive meet and greets throughout the program
Work Environment
  • Onsite work hours will be Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-4pm
