About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Zoo Tampa at Lowry Park. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while operating a cash register and handling cash transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the disposal of garbage and cleaning of dishes.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Serve beverages to guests, including alcoholic beverages, while ensuring responsible serving practices.
  • Maintain high standards of sanitation, health, and safety in the work area.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Three or more months of experience in the food service industry preferred.
  • Previous cash handling experience preferred.
  • Ability to learn to handle cash and operate a cash register and corresponding system.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude.
