Position Overview


The Regional Ministry Representative works closely with the Director and Advisory Team to actualize the FCA Vision, promote the FCA Mission, and embody the FCA Values by executing the ministry strategy for the assigned area.

Within the FCA Sports Environments, the Representative guarantees uniform discipleship practices, nurturing a culture of disciple-making that empowers individuals to disciple others.

This role is accountable for maintaining the FCA ministry in alignment with biblical principles and organizational guidelines.

Spiritual Responsibilities

  • Uphold and embrace FCA's Christian Community Statement.
  • Engage in a spiritual routine, including daily prayer and scripture study.
  • Offer spiritual mentorship to staff, volunteers, coaches, and athletes through prayer, scripture study, and personal example.
  • Actively participate in a local church community.
  • Conduct oneself in accordance with FCA's Christian values consistently.

Ministry and Leadership Development

  • Inspire, equip, and empower coaches and athletes through one-on-one meetings, Huddles, and Events.
  • Train and support staff and volunteers to help coaches and athletes become effective disciples who, in turn, make disciples within the Sports Environments.

Funding and Relationship Development

  • Collaborate with an Advisory Team committed to prayer, service, and support.
  • Build relationships with current and prospective financial supporters to secure comprehensive funding.
  • Manage regional finances with efficiency and transparency.

Global Engagement

  • Partner with the Director to support the corresponding International Region through prayer, financial contributions, and active involvement.

Ideal Candidate Profile: A dedicated and experienced follower of Jesus Christ with a fervor for evangelism and disciple-making. A background in sports as an athlete or coach is preferred. Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to connect with and support coaches effectively.
