Job Title: SharePoint Migration Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Regulatory department as a SharePoint Migration Intern. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the transition of our department's SharePoint infrastructure to the latest version.

Job Summary:

The SharePoint Migration Intern will assist in the development of regulatory projects and execution of regulatory case filings before the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission and the Public Utilities Commission of Texas. This includes rate cases, certificates of need, investigations, compliance filings, and tariff and pricing proposals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the migration of data, applications, and services from an existing SharePoint environment to a more current and feature-rich platform.
  • Develop and execute regulatory projects, including rate cases, certificates of need, investigations, compliance filings, and tariff and pricing proposals.
  • Coordinate with other members of Xcel Energy's regulatory department and colleagues in operations, legal, resource planning, accounting, finance, treasury, business development, and other areas of the company.
  • Apply project management principles to regulatory case management and navigate the development of regulatory initiatives in the dynamic policy environment of a regulated industry.
Requirements:
  • Enrolled in programs such as supply chain, advertising, marketing, safety and health, management, human resources, training, labor relations, public relations, government relations, business administration, legal and regulatory compliance, and similar.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) and hybrid collaboration applications.
  • Understanding of SharePoint architecture, features, and administration.
  • Familiarity with migration tools like SharePoint Migration Tool (SPMT) and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and map the current SharePoint environment to the new version effectively.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Mastery of SharePoint or Super User Accreditation.
