Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at SENTA Partners. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing administrative and clinical support to our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care and interact professionally with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, and preparing patients for examination.
  • Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and administer allergy injections as needed.
  • Perform medication reconciliation, obtain patient histories, and document visit information accurately.
  • Conduct office tests, such as pulmonary function testing and percutaneous allergy testing, and send requisitions to outside labs for blood work.
  • Ensure compliance with government laws, rules, regulations, and company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a safe environment for patients, coworkers, and self.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under high-stress situations and maintain a calm demeanor.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in allergy testing and treatment.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and coding.
