Clinical Technician

Cleveland Clinic's Hillcrest Hospital is seeking a Clinical Technician to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU) team. As a Clinical Technician, you will work closely with our experienced caregivers to provide exceptional patient care and support.
The PCU at Hillcrest Hospital offers a dynamic and challenging work environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care. Our team is dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for our patients, and we are seeking a Clinical Technician who shares our commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities of the Clinical Technician include:
- Providing patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Assisting patients with personal care and activities of daily living
- Reporting abnormal findings or changes in patient condition to the RN
- Assisting with keeping patient rooms clean and orderly
Requirements for the Clinical Technician position include:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Nursing students: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- One year of recent, full-time patient care experience or nursing student who has completed at least one clinical rotation as part of an accredited nursing school program or military experience as a Hospital Corpsman (HM), Combat Medic (68W) or Medical Service Technician (4N0X1)
Preferred qualifications for the Clinical Technician position include:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
