Position Summary:

We are in search of a proactive and skilled Software Product Lead to oversee the creation and enhancement of both frontend and backend functionalities for our digital solutions across mobile and web interfaces. This position is perfect for individuals who possess a strong affinity for technology and a genuine love for animals, and who thrive in a dynamic and innovative setting.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the complete software development lifecycle from initial concept through to launch for B2C mobile and web applications, working closely with international cross-functional teams, including engineers, quality assurance testers, UX/UI designers, researchers, and marketing professionals.
  • Facilitate the refinement of frontend and backend functionalities as well as third-party integrations, ensuring high usability standards and exceptional product performance throughout the delivery process.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis and product research, along with user testing, to inform product strategies. Define and evaluate key performance indicators, producing comprehensive documentation for stakeholder assessment.
  • Actively engage in product sprints, prioritizing features and tasks to align immediate requirements with long-term goals.
  • Collaborate effectively with teams in Asia to allocate resources appropriately and plan project timelines.
  • Demonstrate the ability to deconstruct complex scenarios into manageable parts to identify root causes of challenges and develop innovative, effective solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in B2C software product management.
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related discipline.
  • Fluency in Mandarin is essential.
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies for B2C mobile and web platforms, along with a solid understanding of database technologies and server-side logic.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or similar software. Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel) and user interface design tools (e.g., Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma) is advantageous.
  • Experience in the pet technology sector or a strong enthusiasm for pet-related products is a plus.
  • Prior experience in startup environments is beneficial.
