Role Summary:

The Coin Processing Specialist plays a vital role in our operations, ensuring the meticulous handling of coin transactions within our advanced cash management facility. This position is essential for maintaining the integrity of our coin inventory, contributing to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain coin processing machinery to guarantee peak performance.
  • Count and document coin shipments accurately using our logistics management software.
  • Sort and manage coin bags, with the ability to lift weights up to 50 pounds consistently.
  • Supervise the proper organization of pallets and containers holding coins.
  • Oversee the inventory of coins, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
  • Prepare and organize incoming and outgoing coin shipments for distribution.
  • Utilize equipment such as hand carts and manual pallet jacks for moving bulk coins.
  • Assist management in preparing and dispatching currency and coin orders.
  • Ensure meticulous tracking and counting of all vault assets.
  • Uphold the confidentiality and security of all financial records.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding any operational issues or delays.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Utilize various office equipment, including computers, barcode scanners, and calculators.
  • Adapt to prolonged periods of standing or sitting, with occasional physical movements.
  • Work efficiently in a warehouse setting with variable temperatures.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
