DSP Adult Services Relief Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate DSP Adult Services Relief Specialist to join our team at The Kennedy Collective Inc. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in providing direct support to individuals residing in our residential homes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Direct Support: Promote choice, provide appropriate support, and coordinate activities to foster individual well-being, growth, and development.
- Implement ISP Services: Ensure that all services, programs, and guidelines outlined in an individual's Individualized Service Plan (ISP) are implemented as assigned.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all Kennedy Collective Inc. and DDS regulations and policies.
- Supervise Daily Living Skills: Responsible for the supervision and coordination of daily living skills, including personal care, recreation, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Provide Professional Communication: Provide timely and professional communication with coworkers, supervisors, families, and guardians.
- Record Keeping: Record and maintain individual records in Therap as assigned.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications in accordance with DDS regulations.
- Advocacy: Advocate for individuals whenever necessary and teach individuals to advocate for themselves.
- Ensure Safety and Well-being: Ensure the protection of all individuals' rights and safety by following HIPAA regulations, ensuring privacy, and reporting any type of abuse or neglect.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and the Internet
- Immersive New Hire Orientation: A comprehensive training program that includes an introduction to the agency, site tours, and employer-funded CPR & PMT certification.
- Job-Specific Trainings: Two weeks of job-specific trainings and shadowing at your worksite.
- Check-Ins with Human Resources: Regular check-ins with Human Resources after your first 30, 60, and 90 days.
