Position Overview:

King's Insurance Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial General Liability Claims Specialist to enhance our team. This role involves managing a portfolio of moderate to complex Commercial General Liability claims, including incidents such as Slip and Falls, Premise Liability, and Bodily Injury cases across various jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of 90 – 110 Commercial General Liability claims.
  • Conduct thorough coverage assessments based on the specifics of each claim.
  • Draft Reservation of Rights and Declination of Coverage correspondence.
  • Exhibit strong litigation management capabilities to effectively oversee legal proceedings, budgets, and claim results while considering the overall implications for both the client and the organization.
  • Perform comprehensive coverage, liability, and damage evaluations on all assigned claims.
  • Investigate claims by gathering evidence and conducting interviews to ascertain facts.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal Claims Management and external parties, including Insureds, claimants, attorneys, and brokers.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for cost containment, loss mitigation, and subrogation recovery.

Qualifications:

  • Significant experience in handling Commercial General Liability claims.
  • Prior experience with an Insurance Carrier is essential.
  • Proficient in drafting coverage position letters.
  • Must possess a valid adjuster's license.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce detailed reports and effectively present information to groups.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not mandatory.
