Job Summary

Cincinnati State Technical and Community College is seeking a qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach Art History courses. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, creating engaging learning environments, and promoting student success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach various Art History courses, developing and implementing syllabi, course materials, and assignments to support learning outcomes.
  • Ensure students achieve course learning outcomes as defined in the syllabus.
  • Maintain electronic records of student performance, progress, and attendance using Blackboard.
  • Complete start and end-of-semester responsibilities, including submission of no-show rosters and final grades.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Arts or Fine Arts or a related field with 18 graduate credit hours in Art.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Three years of teaching or industry experience.
  • Experience using online learning management systems (Blackboard).
  • Experience working with students from diverse academic backgrounds and life experiences.
  • Ability to employ a range of online instructional technologies.
  • Flexible availability for online consultation with students.
