This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced individual to work with our state-of-the-art machinery and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Machine Assembly and Fabrication: Assemble and fabricate machine components according to blueprints, manuals, and engineering specifications.
  • Safety and Quality Control: Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and maintain high standards of quality control throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Tool Operation and Maintenance: Safely operate and maintain a range of hand and power tools, including mills, lathes, drill presses, surface grinders, saws, and shears.
  • Blueprint Analysis and Interpretation: Analyze and interpret assembly blueprints, schematics, and specifications manuals to ensure accurate machine construction.
  • Quality Verification: Verify the conformance of parts to bill of material and drawings, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers.
  • Component Alignment and Assembly: Align components for assembly, manually or with hoist, and bolt, screw, dowel, weld, or rivet parts together.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Construct, rebuild, and repair machines and equipment using hand tools and power tools.
  • Machine Start-up and Packaging: Ensure smooth machine start-up and packaging processes.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, with 2-3 years of experience in automation and 2 years+ of experience in sub-assembly and full-assembly of automated machines and tooling processes.
  • Communication and Conflict Resolution Skills: Effective communication and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to interact with various departments in the organization.
  • Math and Computer Skills: Strong math and computer skills, with the ability to work with precision and accuracy.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly, with a willingness to work overtime as needed.
