Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Host or Hostess to join our team at Casa Don Alfonso, a renowned restaurant within The Ritz-Carlton St. Louis. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience, and upholding the highest standards of luxury hospitality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcoming guests and ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere
  • Managing reservations, seating, and table assignments
  • Providing accurate and timely information about menu items, promotions, and events
  • Assisting with food and beverage service, including taking orders and serving guests
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless service and efficient operations
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • No prior experience necessary, but previous experience in a food and beverage environment preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional guest service
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
