Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in home healthcare management, clinical operations, and staff leadership, with a passion for driving quality outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic direction and oversight to the clinical team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care to patients in accordance with regulatory standards and best practices.
Recruit, onboard, and supervise clinical staff, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and home health aides, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Develop and implement performance improvement initiatives to enhance clinical efficiency, productivity, and outcomes, while minimizing risks and ensuring patient safety.
Establish and maintain quality assurance programs to monitor and evaluate clinical performance, outcomes, and compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, social workers, and case managers, to coordinate care plans, facilitate transitions of care, and optimize patient outcomes across the continuum.
Serve as an advocate for patients and their families, addressing their needs, concerns, and preferences, and promoting a patient-centered approach to care delivery.
Oversee the timely and accurate documentation of patient assessments, care plans, progress notes, and clinical outcomes, ensuring compliance with documentation standards and confidentiality requirements.
Assist in the development and management of the clinical department budget, monitoring expenses, optimizing resource allocation, and identifying opportunities for cost containment and revenue enhancement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
Current Maryland state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Minimum of 7 years of clinical experience in home healthcare or a related setting, with at least 2 years in a clinical manager role.
Demonstrated expertise in clinical operations, staff management, and quality improvement initiatives.
Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations, home health accreditation standards, and industry best practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and other relevant software applications.
Commitment to upholding ethical standards, integrity, and professionalism in all aspects of work.
