Survey CAD Technician

HILGARTWILSON, an affiliate of Colliers Engineering & Design, is seeking a Survey CAD Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of land surveying and possess the ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members to successfully complete projects.
Responsibilities- Use Civil 3D to prepare electronic drawings from field data, legal documents, marked-up plans, and/or verbal instruction.
- Prepare boundary, topographic, and ALTA/NSPS surveys, subdivision plats, and results of land surveys.
- Instruct survey crews in efficient coding, linework, and data collection procedures.
- Produce metes and bounds legal descriptions and exhibits.
- Organize and schedule own work to accomplish goals on projects within established budgets and timelines.
- Degree or computer-related certification.
- 3+ years of Civil 3D experience with land survey projects.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Understands and is competent in the process of developing various types of survey drawings, including ALTA surveys.
- Understands principles and requirements for subdivision platting.
- Experience with Pix4D is a plus.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
