Key Responsibilities- Material Cutting and Processing: Cut and process various materials to precise specifications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our manufacturing process.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate and maintain various power tools and equipment, including saws, grinders, and forklifts.
- Quality Control: Verify the accuracy of cut materials and maintain quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production goals and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge, and contribute to process improvements and efficiency gains.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 3 or more years of training and/or demonstrated experience in saw operation and material processing.
- Skills: Ability to read and understand standard and metric measures, and perform basic math calculations.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, reach, grasp, push, and pull materials of various sizes and weights for extended periods.
The Saw Operator I Alum will work in a fast-paced production environment, with regular exposure to noise, dust, heat, and cold. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided and must be worn at all times.
