Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator I to join our team at Ohio Gratings, Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal grating with precision and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and execute drawings and specifications to fabricate metal grating
  • Operate various power tools and equipment, including overhead cranes, to move and place grating panels
  • Meet quality and productivity expectations, ensuring high-quality products
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve welding and fabrication issues
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 2-4 years of fabrication training and/or experience preferred
  • Experience with MIG and Stick Welding, Oxy/Fuel torch, and Plasma torch
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings
  • Safe operation of overhead cranes and various hand and power tools
Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with regular exposure to noise, dust, heat, and cold. The successful candidate will be able to work safely and effectively in this environment.
