Position Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and organized Sanitation Coordinator to enhance the Sanitation Department within a food production environment. This pivotal role is essential in maintaining the utmost standards of hygiene and food safety throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Sanitation, Quality Assurance, and Operations Management to gain a comprehensive understanding of the facility's sanitation initiatives, key areas for improvement, and ongoing enhancement strategies.
  • Provide thorough administrative assistance to the Sanitation Management Team, which includes organizing and managing departmental documents, reports, and records.
  • Oversee various forms and records related to sanitation programs, such as daily cleaning logs, Clean-In-Place (CIP) documentation, and the facility's Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS).
  • Conduct regular audits of sanitation documentation to ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory, customer, and internal standards.
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of sanitation activities, ensuring all tasks are executed according to the established schedule.
  • Monitor and manage the inventory of sanitation supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Lead or assist with various administrative projects within the Sanitation Department, focusing on process enhancements and system improvements.
  • Perform additional administrative tasks as assigned to support the Sanitation Management.

Required Skills:

  • Hard Skills: Knowledge of sanitation protocols, administrative support, documentation management, inventory oversight, and process optimization.
  • Soft Skills: Highly organized, detail-oriented, excellent communication abilities, adept at task coordination, and strong problem-solving skills.
