Key Responsibilities

Engineering Expertise: You will be responsible for preparing construction documentation for infrastructure enhancements related to land development, including grading, site hydrology, drainage solutions, erosion control, underground utilities, paving, and civil/site permitting. You will also revise and update existing drawings to incorporate design modifications and as-built information.

Effective Communication: It is essential to ensure that all stakeholders, including colleagues, landowners, and clients, are kept informed in a timely manner. You will present project updates and reports confidently and clearly.

Detail-Oriented Approach: Precision is critical in our field. You will prepare reports and visual aids, maintain accurate records, and ensure that projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.

Collaborative Team Member: Engage in meetings with engineering, design, and management teams, as well as clients and consultants. You may accompany survey crews or field technicians to identify grading markers, gather data for construction drawing revisions, and conduct engineering tests as necessary.

Qualifications

Required:

· A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited institution.

· EIT certification or proof of passing the FE Exam if nearing graduation.

· Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D design software.

Preferred:

· Internship experience in land development or civil engineering.

Skills and Abilities

· Exceptional communication skills.

· Strong computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

· Ability to create layout drawings from sketches and specifications.
