Position Overview
The Media Strategy Supervisor is responsible for selecting appropriate media channels and programs for designated clients, utilizing a well-defined strategic media framework and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects from inception to completion, ensuring smooth account management.
- Maintain comprehensive account flowcharts and oversee the development of traffic workbooks and creative asset trackers.
- Report directly to the Associate Director of Strategy.
Qualifications
- Experience in pharmaceutical media, covering a wide range of conditions, disease states, and target audiences (DTC, HCP, Payer).
- Familiarity with the complete marketing process and the strategic significance of media.
- Strong understanding of the role of various media channels within a strategic plan.
- Proficiency in media software, particularly Tardiis and MediaTools.
- Commitment to self-education regarding Publicis Health Media and its capabilities.
Leadership & Management
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Mentor junior Strategy team members on tools and processes.
- Manage time and resources for direct reports.
- Facilitate the onboarding of new hires.
- Engage in formal development processes, including performance evaluations and goal-setting for direct reports.
- Contribute to the recruitment efforts within the organization.
Strategic Planning & Account Management
- Prepare and compile comprehensive media plans and strategic presentations.
- Ensure alignment of media strategies with deliverables.
- Collaborate with the VP of Strategy to enhance the planning process.
- Work across multiple accounts and campaigns as needed.
- Partner with internal leaders to ensure a strategic understanding of client deliverables.
- Provide insights on media channel selection and initial budget allocation.
- Ensure that media flowcharts are consistent with financial documentation.
- Oversee the creation and management of Creative Asset Trackers.
- Guide Senior Associates in developing accurate traffic workbooks.
Client Engagement
- Establish and maintain daily relationships with clients for assigned brands.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm for enhancing client experiences and understanding their business needs.
- Offer insights to clients to help shape their marketing strategies.
- Deliver exceptional client service.
