Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Statistical Analyst to join our team at the Internal Revenue Service. As a key member of our Research, Applied Analytics and Statistics (RAAS) Division, you will play a critical role in analyzing and interpreting complex data to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute statistical analyses to identify trends and patterns in large datasets
  • Develop and implement data visualization tools to communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and methodologies in statistical analysis and data science
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, or a related field
  • At least 1 year of experience in statistical analysis or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
