We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Safety Coordinator to join our team at Levy Big River location in Osceola, Arkansas. As a key member of our safety team, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of safety and environmental policies, regulations, and programs.
  • Conduct site inspections with the manager to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Develop and deliver safety training programs to employees, including regulatory compliance and emergency procedures.
  • Conduct regulatory compliance audits, including monitoring and testing, to ensure adherence to OSHA, DOT, and EPA standards.
  • Track and monitor risk assessments, observations, and emergency drills to identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain and monitor compliance and training records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist in the investigation and remediation of environmental incidents, including spills, and develop strategies to prevent future incidents.
  • Order and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure employee safety.
Requirements
  • High school diploma required; degree preferred.
  • Safety-related experience or internship.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and EPA standards.
  • Knowledge of local or state required safety standards.
  • Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal format, individually and in group settings.
  • Ability to travel.
