Job Description

**Job Title:** Manufacturing Process Engineer

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team at The Judge Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for executing time-motion studies on processes involved in chemical processing and precision cleaning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct time-motion studies to identify areas for process improvement and optimize manufacturing operations.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency gains.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new manufacturing processes and systems.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed records of process improvements and results.
  • Provide input into the design of simple studies and plans study schedule, meets and trains hourly data collectors (when applicable) and ensures that data is being collected properly.
  • Develop ad hoc queries and reporting needed for others/users to track and monitor operating performance.
  • Update and maintain existing databases and spreadsheet tables.
  • Gather and manipulate large quantities of data into a format necessary for analysis.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Industrial, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience working directly with manufacturing in a production environment.
  • Demonstrated ability in manufacturing and/or facilities planning.
  • Factory flow, process modeling and simulations experience.
  • Experience leading continuous improvement and value stream mapping events.
  • Strong analytic skill set and a high degree of proficiency in data mining.
  • Exceptional with Excel and manual data analysis.
  • Excellent Interpersonal Communication Skills.
