Senior Mechanical Engineer Energy Job Description

The Senior Mechanical Engineer Energy will play a key role in our team, working on a variety of engineering calculations using traditional engineering methods to document compliance with project and code requirements. This includes stress calculations, limits and fits, equipment sizing, and more.

  • Performs a variety of engineering calculations using traditional engineering methods to document compliance with project and code requirements.
  • Generates and is fully conversant with drawings, layout drawings, arrangement, assembly and detail drawings, specifications and data sheets.
  • Assists in the preparation and approval of design documents and plant modifications, including supervision of designers in document development in accordance with approved procedures, processes and design requirements.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree required in Mechanical Engineering or related technical degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Advanced computer skills, including the use of Mechanical Equipment design software and Microsoft Office.

Salary Range

The expected compensation range for this position is between $97,000 - $161,000 annually, depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
