Job Summary

HNTB is seeking a skilled Construction Inspector to join our team. As a Construction Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that construction projects are completed in accordance with plans, specifications, and contract provisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily inspections of construction activities to verify compliance with project schedules, contract documents, and plans.
  • Verify that procedures are followed and materials used conform to specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspection activities, including contractor labor and equipment, quantity of materials received and verified.
  • Perform on-site material testing and produce as-constructed sketches as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and 6 years of construction-related experience.
  • All required jurisdictional certificates and state requirements.
