About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Event Operations Manager to join our team at AEG. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the seamless execution of events and managing warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and alignment with company objectives.

As the primary lead for event execution at partner schools/properties, you will ensure flawless delivery and client satisfaction. You will also be responsible for recruiting, training, supervising, and evaluating production coordinators and hourly installation crew members.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Communicate company culture, boost morale, and set expectations with all direct reports through regular and effective communication.
- Serve as the primary lead for event execution at partner schools/properties, ensuring flawless delivery and client satisfaction.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate production coordinators and hourly installation crew members.
- Manage the hourly employee evaluation process, providing constructive feedback and performance assessments.
- Develop and implement a daily 'closing' procedure to ensure proper warehouse closure and equipment maintenance.
- Coordinate weekly production meetings to facilitate efficient scheduling of hourly staff members and outline operational needs.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in event management, logistics, or a related field.
- Previous management or supervisory experience, preferably in event production or warehouse operations.
- Knowledge of sports and experience in coordinating in-person events is advantageous.
- Self-motivated with a strong team player mentality and the ability to drive individual and team results.
- Possess a high energy, positive attitude, and a charismatic 'can-do' demeanor.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively manage and coach various levels of team members.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks associated with event setup and warehouse operations.
