Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

Chenega Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in Clinton, OK. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our clients.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, vital signs, scheduling, and greeting patients and visitors. You will also screen for health measures, obtain medication from the pharmacy, and administer it to patients within your scope of practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform direct patient care, vital signs, and scheduling
  • Screen for health measures and obtain medication from the pharmacy
  • Administer medication to patients within your scope of practice
  • Immunize patients and prepare them for provider visits
  • Manage provider schedules and ensure patient flow
  • Obtain medical records, update patient charts, and file reports
  • Ensure patient consent for treatment and provide assistance or referrals as needed
  • Direct patients to testing areas and review documents for forwarding to physicians or nurses
  • Monitor clinic flow and check patients out in EHR/RPMS
  • Route correspondence and arrange clinic appointments
  • Assist patients with contacting patient care services and coordinate clinic scheduling
  • Provide nursing duties within the LPN scope of practice
  • Participate in staff meetings, in-service, and educational programs
Qualifications:
  • Practical Nursing Diploma from a Vo-Tech school
  • Current, valid, unrestricted LPN license within the Continental United States
  • Valid state driver's license
  • Physical ability to perform assigned tasks, lift 50 pounds, and stand/walk for extended periods
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Monday-Friday, occasional weekends for Health Centers, and Sunday-Saturday 8 and 12 hour day and/or night shifts for Hospitals
  • Proficient in documentation, entering data, utilizing email, and completing required training
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
