Job Summary

Houston Methodist Hospital is seeking a skilled Dialysis Technician to join our team. As a Dialysis Technician, you will provide technical support to the nursing staff by performing hemodialysis machine setup, tear down, and safety checks. You will also monitor water systems and maintain inventory of supplies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to the nursing staff by performing hemodialysis machine setup, tear down, and safety checks.
  • Monitor water systems and maintain inventory of supplies.
  • Assist patients with various tasks, such as meal trays, moving patients, and weighing patients.
  • Contribute to improving department scores for patient satisfaction and quality/safety.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent education.
  • Six months health care experience.
  • One year dialysis experience preferred.
  • BLS Basic Life Support (AHA) certification.
Working Conditions

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. The employee must be able to lift, carry, and move equipment and supplies as needed. The employee must also be able to work in a clean and safe environment.
