Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Safety: Maintain a safe environment for guests by actively monitoring the waterpark area and responding promptly to any incidents or emergencies.
  • Zone Coverage: Utilize the 10/20 scanning rule to effectively cover your assigned zone and respond to any potential problems.
  • Queue and Slide Tower Management: Monitor and maintain control over queue areas and slide towers to ensure a smooth and safe experience for guests.
  • Waterpark Maintenance: Inspect and maintain the waterpark area to ensure it remains clean and free from trash.
  • Opening and Closing Duties: Perform daily opening and closing duties as assigned to ensure the waterpark is prepared for operation.
  • Surveillance and Supervision: Supervise and provide surveillance of swimmers and guests during park hours and special events.
  • Rule Enforcement: Enforce rules and regulations and render appropriate disciplinary measures when necessary.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with guests, staff, and management to ensure a positive and safe experience.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Obtain certification in First Aid, CPR, and NPWLTP.
  • Lifeguard Training: Pass Ellis & Associates Lifeguard Training.
  • Swimming Ability: Be comfortable in water and able to swim 50 yards.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to recover a 10-pound brick from 4 feet of water.
  • Age Requirement: Be at least 16 years of age.
  • Availability: Have full availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
