Job Summary

University of Maryland Medical System seeks a skilled Radiographer II to perform routine and specialized diagnostic radiologic procedures under general supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Execute clinical competence in general radiology, including fluoroscopy, across various patient types, selecting accurate technical factors and demonstrating knowledge and skills necessary for patient care.
  2. Apply knowledge of radiology principles and practices, adhering to regulatory compliance standards, and document patient care activity in electronic health records.
  3. Ensure a safe work environment, maintain supplies, and report equipment/environmental problems.
  4. Participate in departmental and organizational performance improvement initiatives and training activities.

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree or Certificate in radiologic technology from a USDE or CHEA accredited program.
  • 2+ years of experience.
  • Registered with American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and Licensed Radiographer - State of MD.
