Job Overview

The Retail Operations Manager will play a crucial role in upholding the highest standards of excellence and embodying our core values to enhance operations within the service department of the store. This position entails fostering a highly motivated team atmosphere and collaborating closely with the Service Team to elevate their performance through active engagement in the store. The manager will efficiently develop team members, implement store processes, and ensure we consistently deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Engaging directly with customers in areas such as sales, service, and customer inquiries.
  • Fostering a motivating team environment.
  • Overseeing technicians and service advisors, planning and scheduling their tasks, delegating work, and monitoring the completion of assignments.
  • Coaching service department staff on all operational matters.
  • Assessing the performance and productivity of all service department personnel.
  • Managing parts inventory and external purchases, as well as updating and restocking in-house parts as necessary.
  • Ensuring store safety, including the proper use and maintenance of safety equipment.
  • Overseeing the layout and positioning of equipment/hardware within the service department.
  • Supervising the shop area, equipment, and team members to ensure compliance with company safety protocols.
  • Ensuring that appropriate inspections are conducted.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional leadership and management skills in a retail environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work setting.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience preferred in a Service Advisor/Writer role.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the capability to mentor others to ensure efficiency.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to cultivate professional relationships with customers and team members.
  • Proven history of surpassing business objectives.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Solid understanding of basic OSHA regulations.

Compensation: $75,000 to $175,000
