FIELD SALES ENGAGEMENT (70% of time)
  • Enhance additional sales and displays through keen in-store assessments and engaging with key decision-makers.
  • Achieve sales targets by demonstrating exceptional sales and negotiation abilities.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with influential stakeholders within the territory to address challenges and optimize sales outcomes.
ANALYTICS & PROBLEM SOLVING (10% of time)
  • Build foundational sales expertise and product knowledge through hands-on field experiences.
  • Leverage analytical insights to boost sales performance at the retail level.
  • Prepare for sales engagements by collecting pertinent store, product, and market information to create impactful presentations for key stakeholders.
EXECUTIONAL EXCELLENCE (20% of time)
  • Take ownership of results and possess a deep understanding of customer requirements.
  • Comprehend General Mills' products, categories, and brand priorities, linking them to retail opportunities.
  • Convey market insights from the retail environment to management.
  • Utilize point-of-sale materials to enhance additional displays.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must reside within a specified radius of designated zip codes or be willing to relocate.
  • Passion for representing General Mills and its leading consumer food brands.
  • A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Relevant work experience with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in using tablets and Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to work independently.
  • Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis is required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Majority of the time will be spent in customer retail environments.
  • Must be capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 20 pounds while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Prolonged periods of walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and occasional climbing of ladders at retail locations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in sales or customer-facing roles.
  • Ability to foster relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
SALARY RANGE

The salary range for this position is competitive and reflects various factors considered in hiring decisions, including education, skills, and work experience.
