Key Responsibilities:
Manage the daily functions of the hematology laboratory.
Lead and coordinate the activities of laboratory personnel, including hematotechnologists and technicians.
Ensure prompt and precise processing and evaluation of hematological specimens.
Oversee quality assurance protocols and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Address technical challenges and implement necessary corrective measures.
Collaborate with various departments and healthcare professionals to facilitate efficient workflow and enhance patient care.
Provide training and guidance to laboratory staff on innovative techniques and methodologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related discipline.
ASCP certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or an equivalent credential.
A minimum of [X] years of experience in a hematology laboratory, with prior supervisory experience preferred.
In-depth knowledge of hematological testing procedures and equipment.
