Position Summary

The role of the Quality Inspector - Final Assembly involves inspecting both work in progress and completed products. You will maintain precise records to meet company and customer documentation standards, conduct root cause analysis on non-conformance reports (NCRs) and customer issues, and implement necessary corrective actions. Additionally, you may be involved in defining opportunities for process improvements.

Work Schedule

This position operates on a Day Shift.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections and support electrical reviews on a diverse range of equipment and products, including MCC buildings, E-houses, power centers, and pump stations.
  • Interpret technical assembly drawings to wire and install electrical components, ensuring compliance with quality and reliability standards.
  • Verify that all equipment is properly calibrated and adheres to electrical code/design specifications.
  • Perform in-process inspections throughout the production cycle and conduct visual and measurement tests.
  • Execute final inspections of finished products to ensure all operations meet specifications.
  • Collaborate with the Manufacturing Manager and team leads to communicate any changes to quality processes and procedures.
  • Assist in collecting process turn backs and lead efforts to analyze root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Work closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure all documentation is completed accurately.
  • Support the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
  • Engage in regular safety meetings and report any safety concerns to the supervisor.
Qualifications
  • Preferred Master Electrician certification to support the growth of our Journeyman Program.
  • High School diploma or GED, with three years of relevant industrial/commercial electrical experience and two years in quality control/inspection.
  • Proficient in three-phase power systems, motor controls, drives, and PLCs.
  • Familiarity with electrical testing equipment such as multimeters and Volt-Ohm meters.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and prints.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
