Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at KA Recruiting Inc. as a Permanent and Full-Time Hire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and specialized magnetic resonance imaging procedures to produce high-quality images of designated anatomical areas.
- Conduct procedures in accordance with established practices and procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and achieve optimal imaging results.
- Participate in on-call rotations, providing 24/7 coverage and support to the team.
- Train and mentor new staff members, sharing expertise and knowledge to ensure seamless integration into the team.
- Maintain current certifications and continuing education requirements, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in MRI technology and best practices.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- 2 years of relevant experience in MRI imaging, with a strong focus on patient care and safety.
- Basic Life Support certification upon hire.
- Registered Technologist-Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Certified MRI Technologist certification from the American Registry for Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Accredited program in radiologic technology and training in MRI procedures.
