Penn State Health is seeking a skilled MRI Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating Magnetic Resonance Imaging scanners to produce high-quality images of the body. You will work closely with patients to ensure their safety and comfort during the scanning process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate MRI scanners to produce high-quality images of the body
  • Monitor patient safety and comfort during the scanning process
  • View images of the area being scanned to ensure quality of pictures
  • Administer gadolinium contrast dosage intravenously (if necessary)
  • Interview patients to explain MRI procedures and position them on the examining table
  • Enter data into the computer system, including patient history, anatomical area to be scanned, orientation, and position of entry

Requirements:

  • Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
  • Registered or registry eligible in MRI
