Job Summary:

As the General Manager of MainStay Camp Lejeune, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving revenue growth. This is a dynamic role that requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a passion for delivering outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of hotel staff, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure high performance and guest satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
  • Manage hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance, to ensure seamless guest experiences and high-quality service.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales to develop and implement sales plans, budgets, and strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and company initiatives to ensure the hotel remains competitive and aligned with company goals.
Requirements:
  • At least 6 years of progressive experience in hotel management or a related field.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth, improving guest satisfaction, and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and drive results.
  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems, Company-approved spreadsheets, and word processing.
