Pasta Cook Job Description

Casa Tua is seeking a skilled Pasta Cook to join our culinary team. As a Pasta Cook, you will be responsible for preparing fresh pasta dough and shaping it into various forms, cooking pasta to the desired texture, and following recipes to prepare pasta sauces and fillings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pasta Preparation: Prepare fresh pasta dough and shape it into various forms, such as spaghetti, fettuccine, and ravioli.
  • Cooking and Quality Control: Cook pasta to the desired texture and maintain consistency, ensuring the freshness and quality of all pasta ingredients.
  • Recipe Execution: Follow recipes to prepare pasta sauces and fillings, and taste and adjust seasoning and texture as needed to meet quality standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist chefs and other kitchen staff with pasta-related tasks, and coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient production.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines in the kitchen, and clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment regularly.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of pasta ingredients and report shortages to supervisors, and assist in ordering, receiving, and storing pasta supplies.
