The Opportunity

We're seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Office Assistant to join our team at our Copley Square office in Boston, MA. As a key member of our front-line team, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide impeccable customer service to patients, responding to their needs and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
  • Manage patient intake, same-day scheduling, and follow-up appointments with precision and attention to detail.
  • Ensure seamless communication with patients, providers, and team members through effective use of technology and interpersonal skills.
  • Contribute to team development through active participation in team huddles, problem-solving, and continuous learning.
  • Perform opening and closing duties, maintaining the look and feel of our office spaces, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for patients and staff.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience in high-touch customer-facing roles, preferably in healthcare or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse communication styles.
  • Proven track record of persisting through change, demonstrating a forward-thinking perspective, and consistently stepping up to take action on challenges.
  • Proficiency in computer technology, including typing, navigating the internet, and using multiple software systems simultaneously.
