Job Summary

The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist plays a vital role in providing high-quality imaging services to patients, supporting the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions. This position requires a strong foundation in radiology, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures using CT scanners, adhering to department protocols and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging results.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, addressing customer needs and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities to maintain professional standards and improve imaging services.
  • Work effectively in a team environment, communicating with colleagues and supervisors to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Current certification in Computed Tomography (CT) and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends, with occasional call-in shifts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient care and customer service.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least one year of experience in CT imaging or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of radiology principles and practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
