Job Overview

Aegis Worldwide is looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to support our client. Below are the qualifications we seek:

  • Educational Background: A degree in mechanical or industrial engineering, or industrial technology is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5-8 years in quality assurance roles is essential.
  • ISO Certification Experience: Candidates must have experience in an ISO certified environment, particularly with AS9100 (aerospace) or IATF13485 (automotive) standards.
  • Target Industries: Experience in aerospace, automotive, medical devices, oil and gas, or heavy industrial sectors is preferred.
  • Six Sigma Certification: Holding a Six Sigma certification (Black, Green, or Yellow belt) is highly advantageous.
  • Statistical Process Control: Proficiency in SPC, including familiarity with PPAPs, APQPs, RCA, and gage R&R is required.
  • Auditing Experience: Experience in internal or external auditing is strongly preferred.
  • Work Environment: Candidates should be comfortable in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
  • Additional Certifications: ASQ Certification or CQE is a significant plus.
