ARCH Healthcare is in search of a dedicated full-time Dentist to enhance our community health clinic services. The Staff Dentist will collaborate closely with the Lead Dental Provider to oversee both staff and patient care, actively contributing as a vital member of the Patient Centered Health Home (PCHH) Care Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Lead Dental Provider in managing all dental personnel and overseeing the dental department's operations.
- In the absence of the Lead Dental Provider, represent the dental department at various meetings and functions related to clinic operations.
- Maintain a current and valid state Dental license, fulfilling all necessary requirements.
- Conduct dental training sessions for staff and provide guidance as needed.
- Ensure accurate and organized dental patient records are maintained.
- Deliver dental diagnostic and treatment services to patients in both the on-site and mobile dental facilities.
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations, standards, and guidelines pertaining to dental services.
- Act as a representative of the health center at dental societies and community organizations.
- Supervise dental students from UNC Dental School during their rotations at the health center.
- Engage in case reviews during PCHH huddles, participating in both daily and multidisciplinary discussions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Educational Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Dental School is required.
