We are seeking an HR Information Systems Specialist to enhance the efficiency of our HR platforms, data management, and operational workflows. The HRIS Specialist will be responsible for data collection, optimizing the functionality of various HR systems, and providing insights to elevate performance metrics across different departments. You will collaborate with the HR team to ensure a high standard of service delivery to management and employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement an analytics strategy to deliver essential data and insights that support business objectives.
  • Develop and oversee dashboards and other information delivery tools for internal stakeholders.
  • Create complex ad hoc queries and tailor reports to fulfill user requirements.
  • Conduct statistical analyses on HRIS data and execute queries.
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive HR metrics for strategic reporting and analysis.
  • Assist in enhancing the skills and capabilities of HR personnel.
  • Oversee application upgrades and provide training and technical assistance.
  • Stay informed about technological advancements and trends in HRIS.
  • Conduct regular audits of HRIS data to ensure accuracy.
  • Manage system configurations, including foundational elements, associations, business rules, and picklists.
  • Ensure secure recording and storage of HR metrics, including attendance and employee performance data.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and other HR resources to deliver information that aids in workforce management.
  • Ensure workflows, approvals, and notifications function as intended.
  • Consult with HR managers and other departments to assess HRIS requirements.
  • Partner with IT to manage system integrations with vendors and related systems.
  • Identify enhancements to improve user experience and drive system optimization.
  • Review and test upgrades to evaluate the functionality of system changes.
  • Analyze HRIS performance metrics and troubleshoot application issues.
  • Document processes, identify HR concerns, and compile data analysis reports.
  • Manage back-end system configurations and interface management.
  • Monitor and analyze HR lifecycle metrics, including hiring, terminations, and payroll administration.
  • Establish best practices for audit and compliance through technology.

Manage user accounts and access, ensuring accurate employee information updates.

  • Applications Utilized: ADP, SuccessFactors (Learning & Development, Employee Management), E*Trade, EEO, Principle, Wells Fargo to ADP Integration, Fidelity

Qualifications and Skills

  • A bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, business administration, HR management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as an HRIS administrator is preferred, with familiarity in ADP, Zoho People, and Workday HCM.
  • Advanced skills in database management and security, along with proficiency in SQL queries.
  • Extensive experience in analyzing HRIS performance metrics and enhancing processes.
  • Experience in conducting diagnostic tests and audits, as well as documenting processes.
  • Exceptional ability to collaborate, provide technical support, and train staff.
  • Ability to stay current with innovations and trends in HRIS administration.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Relevant training and/or certifications as an HRIS Analyst.
  • Proficient in one or more programming languages: SQL, Python, C++, etc.
  • Skilled in data analytics tools: PowerBI, Alteryx, Spotfire, etc.
