Warehouse Operations Job DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity to join The Smead Manufacturing Company as a Warehouse Worker I. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks within the warehouse to ensure efficient and accurate operations. This includes receiving, storing, picking, and shipping materials while maintaining a safe, organized, and clean work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Picking orders from warehouse shelves using handheld scanners and pick lists.
  • Verifying order accuracy and ensuring correct items and quantities are being picked.
  • Packing, loading, and shipping items to customer requirements.
  • Labeling packages with correct shipping information.
  • Receiving incoming shipments and processing them in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Working safely, quickly and efficiently to handle freight and move inventory throughout the warehouse.
  • Communicating any inventory discrepancies or issues to management.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
  • Engaging in problem-solving to support continuous improvement.
  • Maintaining a positive and respectful attitude while working independently and in a team environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
