Job Summary

Tennessee Automatic Sprinkler, Inc. is seeking a skilled Shop Production Manager to oversee the daily operations of our fabrication shop. This individual will be responsible for managing personnel, controlling costs, and ensuring high-quality finished products. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Key responsibilities include:
* Managing personnel: supervising employees, providing training, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations
* Controlling costs: monitoring inventory levels, tracking expenses, and optimizing production processes
* Ensuring quality: inspecting fabricated parts for accuracy, defects, and compliance with quality standards

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in metal fabrication, including working with various metal types and their properties. Strong communication skills and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings are essential for this role. Proficiency in various metalworking tools and equipment is also required.

We offer a competitive salary of $75,000 - $95,000 per year, paid vacation days, healthcare coverage, life insurance, and 401K benefits.
