Job Summary

The Evergreen Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Lead Instructor. This position is responsible for the implementation of instructional activities and treatment programs as designed by the students' Individual Education Plans and Individual Service Plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily care and support to students, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Supervise and assist instructional activities in the classroom and community, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
  • Act as shift charge, supervising staff and ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities.
  • Collaborate with the Head Teacher to develop specific educational and treatment objectives, aligning with the students' Individual Education Plans and Individual Service Plans.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 2-3 years of experience in providing direct care for individuals with significant developmental or physical disabilities.
  • Experience with applied behavior analysis (ABA) is highly desirable.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to pass an extensive background check.
