Job Title: PRN Charge Nurse

At Good Samaritan Society, we are committed to providing high-quality care and service to our residents. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate PRN Charge Nurse to join our team.

Job Summary:

The PRN Charge Nurse will be responsible for providing nursing care to residents according to physician orders and regulations. This includes formulating a plan of care, observing and documenting resident conditions, and responding to resident call lights. The successful candidate will also be responsible for directing and assisting with resident education, handling linens properly, and using standard precautions to prevent the spread of infection.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care to residents according to physician orders and regulations
  • Formulate a plan of care for residents in pertinent areas
  • Observe and document resident conditions
  • Respond to resident call lights
  • Direct and assist with resident education
  • Handle linens properly
  • Use standard precautions to prevent the spread of infection
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a graduate degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing. Prior work experience in a like or related position may be helpful. You will also need to have licensure for the state of practice.
