Culver City Unified School District is seeking a highly motivated and responsible individual to fill the role of School Safety Monitor. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our students during non-instructional time.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise students on playgrounds, cafeterias, and other designated areas to maintain a safe and positive environment.
- Assist with emergency situations and respond accordingly.
- Maintain order and perform assigned duties in the cafeteria, playground, and/or other designated areas.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding students at all times.
- Report details of accidents to the principal or site secretary.
- Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and sufficient training and experience (minimum one year) to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities listed above, including experience working with school-age children in an organized setting.
- CPR/First Aid certification desirable.
- Indoor/outdoor school environment.
- Cafeteria.
- Playground.
- Other school settings as needed.
- Walking.
- Reaching overhead, above shoulders, and horizontally.
- Bending at the waist, kneeling, or crouching.
