Job Summary

At Golden Empire Mortgage Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Loan Originator Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our loan origination process, you will work closely with our Loan Officers to ensure timely and efficient processing of loan applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Loan Officers in the loan origination process, ensuring files are processed and closed in a timely manner.
  • Establish relationships with clients, collecting necessary documents and reviewing them for accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare files for submission to processing, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Monitor file and communications to ensure client questions and concerns are timely addressed.
  • Keep clients informed about the status of the loan process, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Work closely with the processing team to obtain documentation required for loan approval, docs, and/or funding.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned or delegated, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High School or GED required.
  • Minimum of 5 years' lending experience, with knowledge of FHA/VA, Down Payment Assistance, and Conventional financing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to utilize office equipment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to learn quickly and effectively, with a strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • NMLS license and bilingual skills.
  • Experience with AUS, DU, and LP software.
