Position Overview:
The Clinical Training Consultant plays a pivotal role in delivering specialized clinical education and fostering professional growth to improve healthcare services. This position involves collaboration with the leadership team, clinical personnel, and educational staff to meet organizational objectives, encourage innovation, and support continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engaging with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
- Designing and executing educational initiatives for staff development
- Creating orientation programs tailored for new employees
- Facilitating competency enhancement for clinical personnel
- Encouraging professional growth through various learning opportunities
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required
- Master's Degree in Nursing is preferred
- A minimum of three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care environment
Licensure and Certifications:
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification
- Specialty certification is preferred
- Membership in a professional organization is required
- Active RN licensure in Maryland
- Compliance with Luminis Health credentialing standards
Work Environment:
Potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens may occur in this role.
Physical Requirements:
This position involves light work, necessitating the ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally.
